For Lindsay Construction safety is a top priority. We recognize the safety risks inherent to our industry and are committed to effectively dealing with these risks on every Lindsay worksite.
Our Registration as an Integrated ISO 9001:2008 & 18001:2007 Quality & Safety Management System Company demonstrates our high commitment to managing risks on jobsites effectively while operating efficiently. In addition, the Construction Safety Associations in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Newfoundland all recognize Lindsay Construction as a COR Certified Safety Contractor.
Lindsay is a leader in safety due largely to our positive safety culture which is prevalent throughout the company. Throughout the Atlantic Provinces, we are committed to meet or exceed all of the requirements by the Occupational Health & Safety Act and all OH&S Regulations, which is supported by our merit positions with Workers Compensation Boards.
Our Safety Program is more than a template of procedures on how to comply with provincial legislation, and ways to reduce the exposure to hazards in work areas. Our Safety Program is designed around work processes encouraging safety and health related decisions that our workers make themselves while on our job sites.
Our program includes many elements such as a Safety Policy; regular inspections; written instructions; regularly scheduled management meetings; investigation of incidents; records and statistics; and instruction and supervision of workers.
At Lindsay, we make no distinction between a safe project and a successful project. We deliver results with an equal commitment to both safety and quality. We work hard to minimize the risks on every worksite and to maximize our safety culture. We know that our people and our clients depend on it.
